Avoid choosing this tourist planner at all costs – a complete waste of time and money. They lure you in with promising packages, but it's all a facade to deceive and extract money. Our booking for the Delhi-Shimla-Manali package (14 to 19 Nov 2023) turned into a nightmare.
Upon arriving at Delhi railway station at 10:00 AM, the driver was absent. After an hour of waiting, he finally arrived. Despite our planned local site visit in Delhi on 14 Nov 2023, the driver claimed ignorance and initially refused to show us local tourist spots. After an hour of struggle with Ms. Pooja Sharma, the planner, the driver reluctantly agreed. The MMH-hired Jaglan transporter's driver was unfamiliar with Delhi's local routes, relying on Google Maps.
Our overnight journey to Shimla commenced after giving the driver a proper 5 to 6 hours of rest. Upon reaching Shimla Mall Road, Ms. Pooja instructed us to coordinate with the hotel and the driver, wasting 2 to 3 hours in confusing conversations about pickup locations. The hotel, situated 4 to 5 km from Mall Road with risky roads, is not recommended. The hotel staff used a 4-seater car for three trips, consuming an additional 2 hours for pickup and drop.
Despite our request for a local site visit in Shimla, the driver misled us to Kufri, planned for the next day. MMH did not respond to our complaints. Ms. Pooja, who initially projected confidence, avoided communication, deferring to her manager. Senior management, Ms. Ambika Negi and Ms. Annu Sharma, provided no guidance and disregarded our concerns, displaying poor coordination.
The driver took us to Kufri, where he collaborated with an agent for horse rides, likely for personal gain. Despite reporting this to MMH, no resolution was offered. On the return from Kufri, the driver stopped us 1 km behind the Mall Road, instructing us to walk. The entire journey was chaotic, with three rides from Mall Road to the hotel, wasting an additional 2 hours. MMH failed to provide necessary details to the illiterate driver, impacting the entire journey.
Our journey to Manali the next morning, relying on Google Maps, bypassed planned sites, including Vaishnavi Devi Temple. The driver prioritized stops at places offering commissions, wasting time. On the last day, the driver's delays, including a one-hour car wash, caused us to miss our train. We ended up wasting double the money paid for the package.
I humbly urge everyone to avoid MMH planners, even if offered a lower price. They are experts at deception, and their entire staff is focused on extracting money rather than providing a proper service. Steer clear of them.
