Its a Hotel not a Hospital

Till today, I had avoided writing my negative feedback of Medanta, but today, once again its unforgettable experience came to haunt me, which has forced me to pen the pathetic services offered by this Hospital which is actually a Hotel, not Hospital.


I had visited this Hospital on the recommendation of our known to Doctor for the treatment of my mother which turned out to be a nightmare for us. Sharing below my experience of this nasty Hospital so that people could get to know about the reality of it.


DR. Praveen Chandra was recommended by our Doctor for the treatment. DR. Praveen Chandra suggested that EPS RFA must be performed. But he didn't perform it himself, it was done by a Junior Doctor.


At the time of discharge, neither DR. Chandra nor the Doctor who performed surgery, visited even once to check the condition of my mother.


Assistant of Dr. Chandra had advised Nurses to prepare my mother for Surgery(Blood test, ECG) to be performed. I was busy in other formalities of Hospital and when returned after 2 hours I got to know from the assistant that Surgery can't be performed today as the nurses had not prepared my mother for the surgery.


When asked nurses why this was not done, they replied that they were not instructed by the doctors as to what preparations were required. Doctors were busy in Gossiping with each other and Whatsup.


During Surgery, my mother was kept awake as it was required. She got terrified when another colleague of doctors started coming inside, again and again, asking "AREY ABHI TAK KHATM NAHI HUA".


The doctor also said once during surgery "ARREY WO COMPONENT NAHI MIL RAHA, USSEY DHUNDO".


Since I shared my negative feedback with their staff members, I was not even given a feedback form Staff who takes care of Refund is rude and doesn't know how to speak to the visitors


I had given my Aadhar Card photocopy for a refund and also received a refund voucher in which my complete name Narender Singh Bisht was printed, still, I received a cheque in the name of Narender Singh which couldn't be cleared. Now Mr. Sunil Kumar who takes care of all these things says that policy has been changed and cheque can be released only in the name of the patient.


There is no place in the hospital where Poor and Middle-class family could eat inside. There are 2 cafeterias in the hospital which has famous food joint but nothing which could be served to the poor and middle-class family. A samosa with tea would cost you Rs.124


Therefore, I request people to be cautious while visiting this hospital for treatment. They are more interested in giving treatment to offshore patient and money making. The hospital is already receiving much negative feedback which is indeed true.
