It was a very well written review.
Let me share a bit of my experience about Mc.Donalds.
Like your kid, even I was really excited when I went to Mc.Donalds for the first time.
Since,we dont have Mc.Donalds in Calcutta, I always wanted to check out their famed french fries & burgers !!!!!!!!!!
Though, I travelled to the major metros quite frequently, but I could never take time out for Mc.Donalds.
Last year,when I was in Bombay, I told myself that, this time I am going to Mc.Donalds.
Well, I made it !!!!!!!!!
There, I was, excited like kids,and ran into Mc.Donalds at Lokhandwala,in Andheri (West).
Ordered, for a frech fry,and a veg. burger ( dont remember what exactly they called), and a coke.
And, I was geting impatient for the famed Mc.Donald's french fries, and those yummy burgers !!!!!!!!!
Man,their advertisements were coming into my mind, and I was geting all the more hungry !!!!!!
Okie,the frech fries arrived,and I gulped, one, then two , and then third, and NO MORE !!!!!!!!!!
What the hell is this?????????
Is this their famous French Fries????
I just didnt find them exciting.
Anyway,I thought, may be I dont have a taste for french fries, so I waited for the burger.
Okie, the burger arrived, the bread a bit too soft, anyway,by now I was quite hungry.
So,quickly I had the burger, and while eating, I was wondering, whether my taste buds were ditching me.
Nope,my tatse buds are very much all right.
Well, was it that my expectations with Mc.Donalds very high? or thats what their quality is?
I might be wrong, but for sure I am not keen on anything about Mc.Donald's now.
And, here reading your review on Happy Meals at Mc.Donalds,
I now have, all the more poor opinion about them.
Why are we exposing the kids to dangers of aerated drinks at such a young age??????
Why dont these Mc.Donalds guys, offer something more nutritious to the kids?
Spicy burgers for three year old kids?????????
In the end, whom are they making happy ???????
And at what cost ??????
The kids?????? by giving away a toy, which dosent works after a while, making them unhappy??????
And certainly the parents cant be happy, when they find that neither has their child eaten anything, nor they can play with the toy for sometime.
Lets hope,these big chains understands their consumers better.
