Oh, I curse that person who came up with the brilliant idea of opening a Mcd near my place! Ever since it sprung up from no where I find myself going there almost every fortnight! My feet automatically start moving towards the destination ( I wish my body was so prompt in other things too)
Location : I am sure you will find one near your place too, they are almost everywhere !
Decor : They maintain a particular standard in all their branches, which is pretty good, nothing great but well maintained and clean! I have not been to all the branches but from whatever I have seen no complaints!
You might find a few student gangs or love birds who don't leave any damn place on mother earth !
Food and Pricing : Now, coming to the most important part the FOOD! I am a foodie but very fussy about my food (ask my mom!), there are only a few things that I actually like and burgers are up there!
Burgers: Mc Aloo Tikki Burger costs Rs.25 and is sort of a poor man's version of Mc Veggie burger which will cost you around Rs.48 ( not sure), I would recommend Mc Veggie,it has just the perfect mix of flavors and textures and is pretty filling too! The new Mc Spicy Paneer burger is good too, it costs around Rs.79 (or 89) and don't worry its not that spicy ! You have to try it if you are a paneer lover.
Wraps: I tried the Spicy Paneer wrap today, and dint really like it ! It costs Rs.119, I would not recommend it, may be people who love wraps will like it!
Fries and Wedges: I don't like the wedges but the fries are great ! Humble potatoes cut into strips and fried to perfection and just the right amount of salt over them! Goes well with Coke, in fact everything on the menu goes well with Coke! ( Being a Coke/Pepsi lover, I hope they come up with the concept of Freefill :D)
McSwirl : Nothing great, just regular ice cream! ( A cone with chocolate covering would cost Rs.20)
Apart from this, there are a few options for the non vegetarians, Mc Chicken burger, filet o fish burger, from what ever I have heard from non vegetarians I know, they are pretty good!
Lot of things I might have missed, but I have mentioned only those things I have tried or got good feedback on.
Too much of anything is bad, so this is not the place to go every day! As we all know fried stuff is bad for health :P But a visit once a month wont hurt your health or your pocket ! And don't forget to exercise everyday! ( Hope I follow this ) :P
