Today, we had been to MTR, the iconic and legendary destination of Benuluru.sure it was.I had the opportunity to relish all the goodies way back in'93 and later onwards.
But today's experience is sorely disappointing.We preferred a mini lunch than a regular full lunch with teeming number of items jostling for precious real estate of taste buds.
Ambiance: Mini lunch is served in self-service counter, adjoining the main entrance. This place is absolutely cluttered, stuffy, dingy and virtually delapidated.not on the lines of a well maintained heritage property but dreary weathered old structure without any lights/AC/flow of air etc.,
Service: absolutely nonchalant incommunicado serves by sheer presence of the customer than by virtue of any semblance of warmth or genuine interest in serving the patron.what with the iconic status
Cleanlines: less said is better.neither the tables are cleared nor the cleaning is sufficient.its an ugly mess of eye sore that welcomes the guest in such claustrophic environment
Food: we have ordered very trepidatiously a couple of Bise Belle Bath.another local favorite dish.well its hot.but nothing to relish or savor
Ovrerall: its best avoided till MTR shuts this entire joint, renovate, reorient their staff and offerings yet retaining the old world charm.lest its aggrandizing the overly milked up so called heritage joint.
Rating: 1 only due to the earlier positive experiences
