Mast Kalandar on 80 FT road Koramangala is a tiny place and neat place which cannot be missed.
Had gone there with my hubby and kid for dinner, and was really glad that we chose that place.
Ambience is nothing great, it looks like a cafe , with some basic looking chairs and tables. But the place really looks neat and tidy and well organised. One has to order and pay at the counter, and the food is delivered at your table.
Now coming to the food part, there are various combo meals, which sounds really good. We ordered for aam panna, spicy corn paratha and mix veggie paratha. The parathas are served with dal, raita, chutney and pickle. The corn paratha was really very good , and felt that the stuffing was really creative, unlike the usual aloo, mooli, gobi. Mixed vegie paratha was nothing really great, the taste was quite ordinary.
The menu also lists gobi, mooli,masala aloo, paneer, shrouts etc parathas. All these parathas are given very imaginative names, which sounds really good. Apart from parathas, they also have some roti, curry combos and rice combos. They also have some limited desert items.
Service is efficent and quick. Paraths costs between Rs. 50 to 80 , and they are a meal in itself. Portion size is quite satisfactory. In all if you want to have food which is homely, low in calorie and at the same time tasty Mast Kalander is the place.
