Wagon R comes in tall sized cars category. Besides engine power being suffice for the given size and weight of vehicle, the car is moderately priced with leisure comfort.
The front view is visually clear as compared to other cars below 5 lakh rupees. The interior space adds up more head room even for people upto 6'2 height tall. The leg room is well given in this car. The car comes in only with petrol engine and hence you can limit your mileage upto 17 to 18kmpl. Basically this car is 2+ 3 seater with a quite moderate boot space at rear.
For beginners this is a recommended vehicle to learn driving giving the seating position, steering position, front view clarity, nominal powered engine, low maintainance cost, compact size to move about into traffic etc.
The engine is not so genuinely reliable when it comes to Marathi. But since it comes with petrol engine alone, the life adds up upto 1lakh kms.
The lxi option comes in with gas option to the right side of the driver seat. The engine is designed to get started with petrol so that the risk of engine getting seized by gas start is reduced. The gas then gets activated only on run hence adding up mileage even in the city.
