I bought a Wagon R after 5 years of trouble free service of Maruti 800. The last car left such an impression on me that the next car had to be a Maruti. And the discount by the dealer was 15K.
The choice was primarily between M800, Zen and Wagon R. While Zen has a better mileage and option of diesel version, Wagon R wins hands down due to its better interiors (size also) and other addons viz power steering and power brakes. Its a hi-tech car and will not be oudated for next five years atleast.
This car cruises on 120 KMPH without a minor vibration inside and is good for long distance travel. I am using this now for last 1 year and have no problems with this car.
I get a mileage of under 10 in bombay city driving but this goes up to 15 plus the moment I hit the highway. I had'nt seen this dramatic difference in M800.
The electronic power steering lets me take U turn even in a single lane road and the AC is much better than M800.
