After giving the Swift hatchback a once over, Maruti have now launched the refreshed DZire.
Among the external changes made to the DZire, the headlights are blackened out, and there's a new front bumper that houses a larger air dam and fog lamp inserts with some aluminum sprinkles. The most prominent change is the all-new grille with a very Honda-ish V-shaped chrome bar with a prominent Suzuki logo smack in the centre. While the higher variants get new alloys and rear parking sensors, the lower trims will get new wheel caps. There are even four new body colours to choose from.
On the inside, aside from the new upholstery and a new Bluetooth-ready, six-speaker sound system, the updated DZire shares much of its interior changes with the refreshed Swift – like smart-key access, push-button start and electric folding mirrors for higher trims.
The refreshed Swift DZire is powered by the same set of engines – the 1.2 K series VVT petrol and the 1.3 DDiS diesel mill. Maruti claims to have slightly bumped up the efficiency figures. Sounds good? Here are the ex-showroom, Delhi prices.
