The food here is very home-like and tastes fantastic. I was craving for some home like food and that too fish and all the restaurants that I have been to fail to satisfy me. Mangalorean Pearl is a small joint with simple interiors and good staff.
Two minutes of looking into the menu I knew what I wanted and was longing to have. I called for a Mixed Salad, Surmai Fry, Pomfret Curry, Prawns fry, Plain Rice, Neer Dosa and plain papads. The food took some time to arrive, till then I sipped on a cold drink, and when it arrived, there were stars in my eyes.
The Surmai was well cooked and tasted delicious with the masala it was fried in. The curry too was very tasty along with the rice, due to spices and freshly ground coconut. The Neer Dosa was fabulous with the curry and the Prawns fry.
The food tasted like heaven and I was super full! There was a satisfied smile on my face, which lasted till I went to sleep.
