So recently I decided to purchase a gold ring from their online store. This was a make to order piece and not one that was in stock as it had to be customised to my size.
When I processed the order online the weight showed as 1.2 gms for a 14mm size ring.
I was already reluctant to go ahead with a 2nd online purchase as the first time I ordered bangles which were make to order was also not a satisfying experience. Which I'll explain in a bit.
So as I said the weight said 1.2 gms and the total cost came to about 9500/-
However when I received the ring I got to know as per the invoice the weight was only 0.93gms and the ring was dainty looking not to mention not sturdy. Now I had asked them show me actual pics of the ring before making this but when they show them to you via WhatsApp the images are taken close to the product that it appears bigger than what it actually is. I don't know if this is deliberate but in my opinion the pics should be taken such and fairly so that customers know that they are getting value for their money.
Anyways, I get the ring and it is smaller and dainty and not even the weight for which I paid for.
They did refund me the amount for the deducted weight but I still had to pay the making charges for something small. When I questioned them as to why this was not informed me prior to fulfilling the order they just apologise for it like it's something small. I insisted to know as to why the the finished product wasn't made to have the same weight as I purchased online when I paid the full price and they give a lame answer that we need to make a special request for that. As they made it to size and for this design the weight is to be 0.93gms ...which made no sense to me and especially when I processed and order for said weight of 1.2gms!
The same thing happened in the case of the bangles where online they said the weight would be less but then they had to increase the gold in them and hence the weight to fit to my size. I understand that some amount in weight difference would be there but it was a big difference, in this nearly 5gms on each bangle.
Anyways so, even though they claim to be transparent and fair pricing they fool and blindside customers like this. This purchase was a sheer waste of my money.
I would say do not purchase any make to order products from them online as you wouldn't be getting what you see online. Purchase only the in stock items of you decide to, as you can return them if you don't like it.
They're not worth the hype they make themselves out to be.
