Highlighter to splurge on!!. Review on Makeup Revolution London Vivid Shimmer Brick

Makeup revolution is a British company which is for about 28 years and running. This brand has lot of makeup products which works like magic. They also have some affordable makeup products too which are great.

Product packaging:

It comes in a pallate type packaging with see through top. There are 5 shades in single pallate. This highlighter comes in 2 tones- rose gold and radiant. The 5 shades in the pallate are set like bricks and are close to each other.The only problem with this is as the shades are close we cannot exactly pick up one shade with a thick brush. The packaging is quite sturdy.

Quality:

The highlighter is quite beaming and it looks like a highend highlighter. The quality seems quite good and can also be used as an eyeshadow. It is very pigmented and shimmery. It is not chunky and looks natural on skin.

Price:

Its price is 650/- but you can get on discount on amazon. I mostly buy on amazon and I have the rose gold one which I bought for 450/-, which was quite a deal.

2 different tones:

Rose gold- This has most different and vibrant colours and mostly suitable on darker skin tones. This pallate has brownish and golden tones.

Radiant-This pallate contains light toned highlighters. This is suitable for lighter skin tones.I have bought rose gold highlighter-

First shade- Is looks like it would look icy on dark skin tones but not it has a golden reflex. It flatters dark skin tones. It can also be used to brighten up your eyelid or can be also put on inner corner of the eye.

Second shade- It is pinkish in colour and can also be ussd as blush if you like a shimmery blush.

Third shade- It is a brownish in colour and can be used as a shimmery bronzer.

Fouth shade- It is similar to the the third shade but has pink undertone and can be used as eyeshadow.

Fifth shade- This is a velvety maroon shade it can be used as bronzer or eyeshadow.It can used one shade at a time or can be used by swirling a single brush over the whole pallate and using it on face.

Contents: It is not paraben free and contains dimethicone.

Dupe- It has a dupe which is sivanna shimmer highlighter. I have also written revie on it you can check it. And it is also a dupe of bobbi brown highlighter.

P.s.- It lasts for about 4-5 hours. It is a very good product and I highly recommend it.
