Waste of time!!. Review on Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon

Mein prem ki diwani hoon was a complete waste of time AND the 10 dollars I spent watching it in the theater!! I had a strong feeling it was gonna turn out to be stupid but I assumed the barjatya's would have done it well. I think they were trying toooo hard to copy the johars and chopras because it was nowhere near HAHK! and maine pyar kiya.

anyways, I just like critiquing rather than tell the story (im sure for those of you who havent seen it will figure it out anyways because it s a ''typical'' hindi film, nothing new at all). to start with hrithik, I think he had a huuuuge salman khan hangover, he must have watched maine pyar kiya and HAHK! religiously to copy his acting precisely. sadly he didnt look convincing at all. he was went OVER BOARD with his acting, dancing, laughing, crying, lyp-sinking (basically EVERYTHING). its weird how a simple and plain employee like him can afford to look sooo stylish and fashionable in his songs!!! maybe he was completing with kareena LOL

that brings me to kareena, she had nothing new to offer, was the same old character as usual (i dont need to explain this part since im sure you know how HER characters are!!). she was the third animation after the dog and parrot and was funnier than both of them put together!! although she did well at the end during the engagement scene.

abhishek went a little bit to the extreme of bring an introvert. forget not talking, he would hardly even SMILE!! I bet his character was the only normal outcome because of one reason: he didnt have too many dialogues to rehearse since he HARDLY even talked!! I guess he played his normal self with his serious grumpy look. I was rolling on the ground with laughter during the song ''prem meri akhon mein hai'' that's because abhishek started crying LOL. im like why in the world did he have tears in his eyes, poor baby thought kareena was sing about him!!! he also looked like a toothpick and half the size of kareena when stand together.

the barjayatya's tried toooo hard to make a modern version of their film this time. and please, sooraj, dude, if your not comfortable with something and dont have the habit of it, DO NOT do it!! for example, kissing scenes, nude scenes, making out scenes, (im sure you get what I mean). also, dont try to fool us that sundarnagar is somewhere in india. man, it would have at least looked authentic if he used a ''real'' place in india instead of flying off to switzerland or new zealand!!

all in alll, the music of the film is nothing but bull shit!!! the screeeeeeachyy chitra singing (yelling, whining, crying, shall I go on???) all the songs. her voice just doesnt match kareena's BIG, HUGE, and masculine face.

anyways, the movie was a big flop, it was only attractive because of the star cast and production.
