Decide for yourself!. Review on Mahindra Xylo

This is a review in continuation of the review "decide yourself".see most of the defects pointed out by me remains the same in my vehicle

1. Powersteering has no grip

Even if this is so I would like to say that I took my vehicle for the 1st service at 5500 kms. The expense was really astonishing rs. 1700.00 for oil change and oilfilter. They washed and polished the vehicle and gave me in a mint condition except for the above complaints. The told me to put a steering grip for better grip on the steering wheel. Cello taping is something that is to be removed at the time of pdi(pre delivery inspection). That was not removed in my vehicle.they say keep it good for the vehicle. I heard them.it is still in my vehicle. Then regarding co driver side power window lock they say that, all window lock in the driver side doesnot have lock facility for the co driver side. I believed them.good.guys.I would say that after all it is our own vehicle. It runs runs and runs.last sunday I drove from trivandrum to ernakulam to check its mileage without a/c. Ofcourse it was during night. My good xylo gave a 16 km/ltr.at a steady speed between 60-80km/hr. I would say I have not bought the vehicle for contesting in any race or rally, really my vehicle was flowing in that speed. The cabin was calm and quite, no rattleing, no squeezing, no jerk. And cool breeze from outside. I really wondered whome I should thank.pwd for good road or mahindra for making such a good vehicle.since I have worst experience travelling on the same road in my maruthi 800 I would never thank pwd.reason.two times I had to change the front wheel disc and tyres.pothholes.wheel disc bends. Imagine the depth.great.back to my xylo.as I earlier said I bought the vehicle with full of confusions.but now I am a happy man .now my relatives want to travel with me. Unbelieveable.they make travel plans aiming my xylo. And tells me later on.is it not great.xylo is really a crowd puller as well as a relatives puller.one more thing. My vehicle need no acceleration. It moves to a steady spead of 40 km/hr on 5th gear.with no acceleration from my part.and also beeps when I cross 130 kms/hr. Really its a good vehicle. If you guys get some time look at the xylo maintenance shedule go through it.for this type of vehicle, according to mahindra, it needs only"i" and "a".inspect and adjust. Funny thing. I met one of my friend who purchased innova. He had spend rs.15, 000/- for one service.that too. He is infact looking for "what for?".
