I was able to get XUV300 W8 Petrol for 11.80L onroad with all available discount. Its almost a year and half and completed 20000km. I have mixed filling about this car, some are great and some makes no sense. Milage is okay and I get 11kmpl in city and 17kmpl in highway. The body is really strong and car handles small impacts without a visible spots. Engine and transmission are okay as well and never given any issue so far. The tyre noise is little annoying and expected less noise. Sterio and speakers are equally bad sounding so I have replaced to Infinity Primus. Also I have researched on the original music system and did not find any information on the internet so open it completely and find the stereo is actually a good one. It has 8gb RAM, A good CPU and latest classD amplifier FDA801 from St microelectronics. Its just that you have to manually adjust the sound settings to get best out of it. My recommendation is, in tone settings just put all bar in high. Then in Equalizer settings, make custom adjust as per your taste. The headlight is not enough in night so you can replace a LED but keep the high beam same original halogen as LEDs are not very useful in highway for long distance view. The suspension is little stiffer than other in the segment and under thai support for seats are less. 180 ground clearance is more than enough and also help to stabilize the car in high speed. I have also replaced the exact Original leatherite seats of W8 Optional with cost of 8000 from outside(dealer asked 16k) . You can change as per your taste. So far I am happy with this car. I understand the design whether its outside or cabin are very much personal preference and depending on the taste of the individual. I like the front but not the back. Liked the cabin design and arrangement. Overall I will give this 3.5 star out of 5. There's plenty areas need to be or required upgrade in future.

Also please see that XUV300 is a rebranded sister of Ssangyong Tivoli. Mahindra just brought some stocks in Ssangyoung which get them the license to modify and sell the car in India. The catch is, they took the 1st gen 2015 Tovoli, modified it. rightly said removed all the luxury features of Tivoli, trimmed the boot area to fit the 4mtr tax standard, rebuild(copied original engine and technology) the small 1.2L engine, modified new lights and changed the bonnet, and now they are selling it as XUV300 as a car from future. Also they are trying to convince people that except the platform and body, rest all car designed and manufactured by Mahindra. Its not true. 99% XUV300 is same as Tivoli thats also old generation, no doubt a good car though.
