Let me start with the the fact that this is my first car and very first review. I test drove both SX-4 and Logan. SX-4 packs some very good features but some how I did not feel as comfortable driving the car as I felt in Logan. So I went for Mahindra Logan. I had test-driven both 1.5 DLS and 1.4 GLE. I went in for 1.6GLS (Petrol) as I am going to drive mainly on weekends (near about 250 KM / month).
As I took the delivery of the vihicle on 22nd of September, this may not be a complete review.
I would like to start with the mileage. As my option for color was not available with the dealer, he got it from Pune and the car was driven down to Nagpur. The car computer showed that the the distance was 780 KM and that the mileage was 19 KM/L with average speed being 45 KM/H (This is the output from the digital meter and only available on the top-end modles). After getting the delivery I have driven in city only and most of the time was spent in parking the car (I live in a apartment and there is very less room / maneuverability). I have driven nearly 150 KM in the city with mileage 11.5 KM/L (again output from the car computer).
The car looks sturdy and well-built. Handling on the road is superb. Brakes are good. Engine is smooth and requires very few gear-shifts even in city-traffic. Car has very good head-room, shoulder-room and leg-room for all 5.
Will put in extra info after my first servicing is done.
