Kuv100 the affordable small compact SUV ..... Review on Mahindra KUV100

Pros:

• Spacious as the interiors have enough leg room and head room for accompanying 5 members or squeeze 6th in first row.(ensure the middle one should be lean to fit in).

nice options of luggage boxes.

• Turbo mode(in Diesel) gives exceptional pickup, would love to drive all day along with such a power.

  
  




• Looks are real good from front and rear(from sides I don't like it personally). The roof rails and cladding add up to the looks and make feel of contemporary.

  
  




• the Front sun glass inspired head lamps are quite a head turner.

  
  




• Gear changing is smoother than any of its competitors(don't compare to the extreme category).

  
  




• Quality of service is good, but service centers are quite far from city surroundings.

  
  

Cons:

• Torque being very high(190 nm) leads to higher vibrations which can be felt on all seats and doors.

  
  




• Rear boot space should have been bit expanded coz for 5 members its not adequate.

  
  




• R16 tires should have been placed.

  
  




• the car claiming to be SUV but not recognized in SUV nor in hatch back category in most of the aspects for identification.

  
  




• Mileage is not upto the mark till the second service was done my millage in city was 13-14 not after the second service its better with 16 in city and 18 on highways.

  
  




• the boot is not capable of locking the alloy wheels(let me explain the car comes with 4 alloy and 5th one is a standard rim I did buy a Alloy rim for the 5th one as well costed me 13K but later realized that the boot locks for the tires does not support the alloy wheel there as the tool kit does not fit in the locks or screws does not suffice the length still finding hard to digest this.
