This is my second review in Mouthshut portal.
Sold my GRAND I10 CRDI after getting irritated due to drive ability dynamics and lack comfort in driving by august 2018 when it clocked 15000.
competitors considered:
Duster:Best vehicle in ride almost finalised by got afraid of few reviews related injector clogging issues and service cost in general.
Ford ecosport: My brother bought one and didn't want to go again to the same.
TUV 300: Liked it looks but again Mahindra niggles in electronics and not proven.
CRETA: This one and duster were a close competitor but since had a bad opinion on the ride quality in Grand i10 and also a high cost for Basic E+1.4 CRDI kept away.
Then all of a sudden one day saw the newly launched Aspire which ticked all the boxes and was about the finalize Trend+ variant at 8.5 on road lacs. But inner heartsomewhere in corner had an inch no more CS or Hatch due to driving posture.
Due to cost just enquired BOLERO out of curiosity and it turned out to be a good option. For the same price of slight higher 9.15 on road Chennai and I'm not a big fan of touch screen and gimmicks.
Factors influenced by buying
1.Long term reliability - Body on chassis which is supposed to be
2.Well proven - Body and rock solidBuild
3.Engine: Was slightly afraid of again a 3 pot mill but know for sure that Engine ECU is from BOSCH so closed my eyes and went ahead, BOSCH calibrations are nowhere a match to any TEIR 1 in WORLD as I worked there;). If it would have been from Conti or delphi like the one I had in GRAND I10 I would rather stay away. My first vehicle Beat diesel a 3 pot ECU is from Bosch
4.Maintenance and service: As usual Mahindra, fewer electronics so close your eyes and buy. But fingers crossed.
Chose a White SLE 2019 and register in wifey name so that I don't sell this one too;)
I would say in terms of driving posture it's slightly different but still, it gives a full view of the road and reduces stress. The rear seat offers good under-thigh support and average leg room
People looking for a budget SUV with minimum electronics and its the best option.

I got an offer from india garage including Extended waranty, seat cover, parking sensor freebies but these zulaikha guys confirmed the same but at the end they just gave me rain visor 1000rs. I literally got irritated here. Stay away from Zulaikaha motors velachery
