It was a surprising experience we had while interacting with M.S.E.B , Vashi division.
I met Suprdt Incharge of Vashi, New Bombay division. He was having such a good value towards the customer, which I could not believe it at all.
We have applied for HT power as a special requirement for our company. Our CEO has given the complete contract to outside vendor ''Laxmi Electricals in Mahape''.
Laxmi Electrical was responsible to complete all the necessary requirements in getting the power in our new premises. With a purpose , he has created a delay of almost 45 days.
I decided to approach M.S.E.B Supdt. Incharge with Laxmi Electricals. During discussing with him, he indicated with story of another 'D'customer, that M.S.E.B officer is very strict. Even after offering one lac by 'D' customer, M.S.E.B did not give them the power.
After approaching the Junior Engineer, the same negative outputs started coming asking for xyz....documents unnecessarily. By mistake this Junior Engineer Mr.Sabde said that Supdt Incharge Mr. Reddy will not accept. He started creating some kind of fear.
Immediately I took the opportunity to meet Supdt. Incharge, (as we have provided total transparency of documents we had a question what is wrong.) When I met him and explained him the real matter related to document. It was element of surprise, Mr. Reddy with a word of apologise and cup of tea, he released our power requirement by accepting the document.
Both the engineers had to put their heads down and accept with humble. We found the large amount of improvement with the M.S.E.B top officials.
What I recommend that today one should really be straight forward with a confident mind. Yes but we need to maintain the levels of respect before approaching any person, as we have generation gap while approaching top officials.
Pls stop depending on the contractual persons. Finally contract persons do not provide the tomorrows service, it always done by the service provider.
We almost paid zero paise in developing a good relations
with MSEB top officials.
