Hello! As I mentioned in my other reviews that my dad is a tailor by profession, I know everything about tailoring and all the tailoring equipments. The most important part of tailoring is ironing. We have 4 iron boxes all together. 2 at our workshop and 2 at home. At home we have a heavy iron box and another one is this Maharaja whiteline iron box. And I have to say that I would never recommend this to anyone. The specifications says that it comes with temperature control system and automatically switches on or off when the limiting heat is reached. We can make that out by looking at the red indicator lamp which would switch off when the iron stops heating. But in this case, the iron switches off at a very high temperature for which the clothing would melt and gets scrumbled up like a plastic. Even if we reduce the temperature and try it, it would give the same result and I doubt that the switches would barely work. It is not a good product to buy and if you are looking for a better iron box go for bajaj. And if you want a perfect iron box, try going for laundry iron box which is a bit heavy ( around 1.5-2kgs) and costs around 3000 rupees, but its worth it!
