I went to Maharaja bhog finally to try their Rajasthani Thali which had a bunch of Gujarati dishes too. The Thali was delicious, filling and made using limited amounts of ghee/masalas which was cherry on the cake. The menu of the Thali at Maharaja bhog keeps changing everyday. I truely had a good time there. This restaurant is very much famous in Mumbai. I went with my family for a good meal there. As soon as I took my seat, after sometime few staff members came to wash ours hands through their unique welcome style. The behaviour and good gesture was lovely. Also they offered the welcome drink which was light on flavour but super duper refreshing. The ambience was amazing. Neat and clean with nice interior decorations done. I ordered a premium Veg Thali which costed me Rs 557+ taxes. It is a affordable restaurant. The food was served within less time and were hot. The waiter served it so nicely and overall the Thali at last looked so colourful and beautiful. There was a chaas, some Rajasthani and Gujarati curries, different types of sabji, puri, thepla, roti, salad, different types of chutney, pickles, pulav, Khichdi, cherry halwa, Aamras, kachori rasam etc and many more. Everything was up to mark. The taste was balanced and suttle. Desi ghee and freshness of fruits in aamras could be tasted and were rich in flavor. The basic aalu sabji was made with an art. I was very much impressed by the food. The food and presentation was mind blowing. The customer service was very helpful, kind and decent. This is not the end infact, if wish to eat more puri, thepla, sabji or roties then they serve you more. Isn't it amazing. My tummy was so full and it just satisfied me a lot. Yes I do recommend you guys to visit this place.
