Mahamudra is our favourite restaurant in Mylapore. Their speciality is the water which they serve in a glass bottle dipped with thulsi leaves.
Their sambar is awesome. The ambience of the restaurant is very good. They display vintage products at the entrance of the hotel which is eye catching. Some brass items, stone items etc., all are vintage products.
The only draw back which we find in this restaurant is when we ask for additional chutney or sambar they take their own time to bring it and by the time one would certainly finish the dish without any side dish.
Their paruppu sambar is very tasty. They serve kuzhi paniyarm which is mouth watering.
Mudra special dosa is awesome and stomach filling one.
They have a huge car parking at the back side of the hotel.
I request the Management of Mudra to improve their customer service, like providing water as and when consumed in the table and providing chutney and sambar immediately as soon as the customer asks.
Barring the above, it is a good value for money to go to this restaurant.
