Madurai, a name very famous among the Hindu community in India and especially south India. It is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu and is also known as "The city that never sleeps". This name is because of the 24 hour ongoing trade in Madurai. It is well connected by air, road and railways. It has plenty of stay options to accommodate tourists ranging from budget class to luxury hotels. Summers are too hot in Madurai and so the best time to visit would be from August to February.
