My brother took admission in this college last year in CSE, due to some reason he discontinued the college.
He requested his original documents and college management refused to give him the documents unless he pays 4 years of fees I.e entire engineering fees.
When we stood against paying the money, they asked for a month to release the docs and we were asked to visit trust office which is 30 km away from the campus.
We went to the trust office, there they sent us back to college to talk to principal. Principal asked us to get Chairman's signature who was available again in Trust office. Somehow we managed to collect our application from college to get the sign of Chairman from trust office.
Again in Trust office, we were asked to submit and wait for a few days as he was out of town. We waited 7 days, called them again they told that Chairman is not present, another time they told meeting is going to happen in this case and they will call us when required.
Few more days passed no communication happened and we started calling and visiting the office but was never helped.
At last after passing 34th days they started asking us the first year fees which we already paid but this time they came up with a new figure of 1, 80, 000 as per the state rules(mentioned by them) but at the time of admission they told us to pay 70, 000 as college fees. Now they are saying that we were being given a scholarship which ideally they should mention in the receipt and at the time of admission too.
We never asked for any fee concession or any scholarship but now they were asking us the difference amount to be paid out of 1, 80, 000.
Today when we went to college, there they started demanding 4 years of fees again and then only they will release the documents. After countless hours of discussion, we refused to pay even single money then they asked 2lacs for the first year, we denied.
After that the cancellation fees Rs.50000 if we were not ready to pay first-year amount, after that at least 25000, it was a scene of bargaining going on in a Vegetable Market.
After 4 hours when they understood we are against paying even a single penny, they asked us to write another application once again, along with an acknowledgment letter signed by me that I have received all the docs.
Luckily I was audio recording everything there one lady, unfortunately, saw that recording screen from behind.
They called me in their office room took the application and acknowledgment and by picking up my brother's documents they asked me to hand over my mobile phone to them when I refused as it is my personal property, more than 10 people surrounded me and two male and 1 lady staff started coming closer to me to snatch my phone, in this course of actions by them the lady staff started using unparliamentary words, started yelling Chor hai tu(you are a thief), 3rd class girl, illiterate girl and pushed me physically when I retaliated by saying how did you touch me she told in front of 10 plus people including 3-4 faculties that if I won't delete the recordings she will Slap me hard.
I also started shouting for my documents that lady hiding all the docs. Under her dupatta ran to principal's office and in front of principal, she locked the docs. In another small room. I went to principal's office and started asking the documents another faculty came and started shouting at me and I was surrounded by 10 plus people who were forcing me, shouting at me altogether to delete my recordings, students started gathering there, seeing this principal asked the lady to hand over the documents and left the room. That lady was still reluctant to give back the documents saying "delete the recordings then only I will give ...it is under my custody ...kar kya legi tu "
After a big scene, she handed over me the documents in front of everybody and also recorded a video of giving the documents.
During all these happenings, shoutings principal was there in his room just adjacent to the office but didn't bother to come out and address the issue.
This is the way they behaved with the guardian of their student.
