*hiii folks
for first time I m penning down my views on a book.although I had a greatxperience in trying all sort of books.but writing a review never attractedme.
but, recently in my b'day a very friend of mine had gifted this lovely book nthe very moment I had completed reading it.had feeled the internal surge towrite on this masterpiece from erich segal.
the very reason why I had decided to write a review on this is b'coz in anypart of our life.
-we feel attracted toward sum guy/gal
-we feel opposition from parents
-many times our feelings remains unexpressed to our luv
-many of us had sad n sour experience in love.
alll such aspects had very beautifully carved in this novel by erichsegal.infact lines are such smoothly penned that it gave me illussion thatwhether I was a part of this novel.so simple n smooth wordings used.
"jenny" alias jenniffer the gal despite a victim of sad ending llsurelly last forever not only in memories of "oliver" but in everyreaders mind.
this story is not like typical bollywood sync of rich guy-poor gal or richgal-poor guy.
the connection of jenny with oliver is outstanding.i really liked jenny'ssupport for oliver even she knows if not so smooth relationship of oliver withhis parents is solved they ll be more comfortable life.
her support 2 oliver is really flawless.its the strength of her character.
really wen 2 peoples r in luv then who cares for one'self .jenny wasportraying this role.
its internal surge.or we can call it internal voice or even feeling which isthe very guiding force of being in love.money, name or fame had no effect onreal lovers.
infact their love which blossoooms in their studies ie college n ends wid theirmarriage despite unsupportive oliver's parent.
yet this was not a happy end @ all .
the very first line in novel ll telll the sad aspect of tragedy involved ie wenoliver says.wat u say about a gal who died @ just the age of 25 years.really heart touching
I found that despite marriage they had no time for them as jenniferunfortunatelly was a victim to blood cancer ie luekameia.sudden of all thetragedy creeps the mind of readfers.
this novel had very funny lines in romantic days of jennifer n oliver.eventheir talks were so touching.n I can't stop my self from smilling on thosetalks between them in their dating days.
the last part of novel is sure 2 make u glued eyed.even I too found n feltthe very emotionality attached to the story.
the line "luv means not ever having to say u r sorry ".was very aptn true.
my views.
unlike every yougster I like rommantic novels.the very day I had completed iwas feeling my desires to pen my views.
frankly speaking when my friend had gifted this book I thought it ll be a mereromatic story.so I dd not touched it upto 10 days after my b'day.but, whilein train I start reading this novel n wat a surprise in this 18 hours ofjourney had completed it.n feeled the pain with oliver n jennifer.
the very moment oliver tell about jennifers death 2 his father was amesmerising one.n heart touching.i really felt the pain.
erich segal is master of connecting the readers with very simple yet connectingwords.sometimes the use of some words etc had irritated me.but latter irealised its essence in arousing a sense of practicality n connectivity toreaders.
really every luv story needs not to have a peerfect happy ending.
manytimes we see the rejection or expression of love from people we had notexpected.we feel some what a maze like thing.but, we sud be very moderate inour expression or even if we r rejecting the proposal of that loveablecreature.
oliver truely depicts n magnifies these famous lines"trying 2 forgetsumone u luv z like trying 2 remember sumone u never meets"
his luv for jennifer or jenny'd luv for him was of such rare yet true form.
in last I thanx my friend sakshi for gifting such a treasure to my library
