Lourdes hospital was one of the trusted hospital in Ernakulam . But lost its Glory due to the bad management . There management is most powerful than even the doctor . Doctor has to priscribe and suggest what management needs . They don't even care for the patients . This causes a serious problem for the patients . Where doctors are presured to do what management needs in the place to help the patient to get better . Whats says is this is a business and doctor must do what management needs for the profit of hospital . If they don't they will be fired . they are losing patient s' trust and the credibility of hospital by this .
On January 20 th 2016 my uncle was diagnosed with diabetic foot by a famous doctor of Lourdes hospital . Then he was admitted for a surgery of cutting off the finger of infection . Thus later , after 3 days the infection spread to other fingers and 3 more finger were surgically removed . After one week the situation went bad again and the removed the remaining fingers and under side of my uncle's left foot . The nurse caring was the worst they never cleaned the wonts . They said its not there job to clean the leg of a diabetic foot patient. I don't understand why there are behaving like this . And the bill amount crossed 3 lakhs . Thus seeing no improvement we moved my uncle to medical trust hospital and then we saw speed recovery . After 2 months he was able to walk . I heard the same experience from many other . I suggest you not to go to Lourdes hospital in Ernakulam.
