Don't judge the book by the title

This was Madhuri Banerjee's debut novel and hats off to her to choosing such a bold subject like'Virginity' for her first novel which is still a kind of myth in a country like India, even though the modern India is not that skeptical about it.

Don't judge the book by it's title, it's a story of a girl named Kaveri who was on the verge of turning 30 and she was still a virgin, working as freelance interpreter in Mumbai. All her life she has lived by the notion of finding the'one Great love' when the time comes right. However on her 30th birthday, she realizes that her prince charming is never going coming on her way, so she decided to take the matters in her own hand. in her attempt to finding true love and loosing her virginity status she meets people who change her perspective on love, life, men, woman and herself. This one year of Kaveri's life in a fascinating tale of how some hasty decision can permanently alter the course of someone's life.

This book is suitable for those who looking for a light and quick read. It is interesting, entertaining but also also little bit frustrating so better not to have a high expectation from it.
