Every woman wants to look brighter, to have that rosy glow on their cheeks, just like someone who tries to hide their love but finds herself giving it away through her blushing cheeks. Well, Loreal claims that they can do that, take away the dullness of the skin and make it brighter and fairer.
Now I am not someone who wishes for paper white skin, but I do fancy a flawless skin or near to that with no discolorations.
I leave for work at noon and living in the Emirates, have to face the harshest rays of the sun. My husband had commented that I looked toasted recently and that's when I started to notice the color change as well.
My skin have acne marks(a lot of it) although I have got rid of the acne problem. The pock marks stay to remind me of my skin's sensitivity and to warn me off against all experiments on it. These spots get darker as well with the sun exposure. So I was in search of a good creme and the search took me to Loreal.

L’Oreal Paris WHITE PERFECT Radiance Boosting Double Essence gives transparent rosy whitening. Tourmaline gemstone enhances the degree of fairness and translucency by 47%. It helps promote skin’s circulation, leaving your skin rosy and lustrous from within.
It contains Melanin-Vanish to reduce visible melanin by 82%. It helps the skin become fairer. And it repels pigmentation. It creates translucent skin with evener tone.
The promise was hard for me to digest. I didnt want European fairness but definitely wanted to get rid of the tan and lighten the marks and I decided to try it.
About the Product: the looks and stuff:
It is supposed to be a set of three pieces.
1) White Perfect Radiance boosting face wash.
2)White perfect Radiance boosting toner.
3)White Perfect Radiance boosting double essence.
4) White Perfect Radiance boosting day cream with SPF.
5)White Perfect Radiance boosting night cream.
The order of application according to the company is Face wash -> toner-> day cream/night cream-> double essence.
Frankly I bought the double essence first, and decided to try the rest later if this worked. The double essence comes in a pump which dispenses both the essences equally on to our palm which can be then applied. I used my usual face wash and did not use any toner or day/ night moisturizing creme.
Result that I noticed within two weeks:
The tan was gone. I was told by others that there was an improvement in my skin tone. It looked polished and more brighter and that there was a glow. It does make you look rosy, not that it makes you look as if you painted on blush to your cheeks but it does give a glow. It makes the marks fade as well.
Now I bought the moisturizing day and night cream but it made me break out, I have oily skin and this could be the reason. So I have stopped the day and night cremes but continue to use the double essence which is a part of my daily routine now.
The face was, toner and the rest of the paraphernalia is just a way to make more money for the company it seems, but if you can switch to them instead of the regular products you use, it might help more.
However for me, I am loyal devotee of Neutrogena facewash which keeps my acne problem in check and hence had decided against it.If your skin is dry and need moisturizers, then the day/ night cream is a good choice. But I will not recommend it for oily skin.
This is a great product if you are looking forward to polished and evenly toned skin although it might prove to be heavy on your wallet. As far as I am concerned, I have loved it and would continue to use the double essence as a part of my daily routine.
