Got this llyod 1 ton spilt Air conditioner with 3 star rating installed today and I am finding it not so effective. Even on 16 degree celcius it is not cooling that much.
My room is small around 8 sq. Meters but it's not cooling. Functionality is okay but not effective. You have to keep it working on for atleast an hour before you can feel the coolness. I won't recommend it for scorching summers where temperatures cross 46 degrees.
