"My stomach is so Happy!"- This is the statement I made after I came out of Little Italy. We went to this place for lunch today afternoon & decided to try their buffet. The buffet spread is really good. Choice of 2 soups- tomato & mushroom. Tortillas with tomato salsa, hummus, crostinis, garlic breads, spinaci salsa, salads etc. We ordered chimichanga & cheese corn balls as part of the starters where you get to select a portion from a list of starters mentioned in the buffet menu.
Both were really good with their share of cottage cheese & melted cheese. In the main course we ordered Mongolian rice - very very yummy. It had brocoli, coloured bell peppers & the flavours were v.good. The salt was a bit too much, but, nevertheless we enjoyed it thoroughly! We also ordered a thin crust pizza named Sicilia, again v.good! We ordered a Lasagne and an Enchilada. Both were good but I guess our stomach was already too full to enjoy it.
I did manage to eat the desserts which was a very good decision I took because we were so full that we wanted to skip it. The desserts were divine! I had a chocolate bomb, blueberry cheesecake & a trifle. All 3 of them were yummy to say the least & I wanted another helping of the chocolate bomb because I just loved it but unfortunately it waa over as it was clearing up time at around 3. The chocolate bomb is a thin cake layer with liquid chocolate as filling.
So when you cut the outer layer the chocolate oozes out & its so fascinating to watch it!I would probably would have liked the liquid chocolate to be slighlty gooey but anyway who cares when it tastes so divine! The staff are very attentive and soft spoken and courteous. All said and done, an'absolute worth it' place & a great value for money! Highly recommended! For the 1st time felt I got my money's worth in Hyderabad!
