Last year When LG Nexus 5 was launched I was among first few to purchase it, that too on MRP due to limited stocks availability at the Launch, For first 6 Months phone was Brilliant and worked like charm, Regular Google Software Updates meant you could always flaunt New Android OS among your friends, but the Honeymoon soon ended, when in 8th month Phones Touch phone started having problems .
Quick call to LG Tech support and I was told Service center is 35km away from my town, it was a shocker since Nokia, Samsung and even Micromax have service centers in my town but not LG, As usual spares were not available and it took them 7 days to arrive and my phone was again usable, 15 days later when I tried to take a Selfie with few friends front camera was not getting on.
I restarted phone and even did hard reset but camera could not start at all I wanted to take it back to service center but due to important assignment I had to travel out of Goa for few days, when back I took it to service center and again no spares, 8 days later when I called I was told that camera did arrive but it was still not working and board will be replaced and it has been ordered, again a week later I was told it has not arrived but will come soon, and 3 days later I was told board is not in stock and will come from Korea and will take 8-10 days more, I spoke to tech support who gave me their ASM number but he too said the same story that I have to wait for few more days
ZERO Support from LG, NO CALL or EMAIL from them all they want is customer to adjust for few days without this smartphone for more than a month, I have decided I will sell the phone if LG fails to provide me new one immediately and will never Buy a LG Phone no matter how tempting are its configuration or price .
