In LG the problem is not with the product as we assume that all mechanical things will break down sometime. Moresoover how LG as a company and its service centers (mostly outsourced) respond to your complaint, should be the criteria while purchasing LG products. We have had a horrible experience with its service center Fair Deal Service in Ghaziabad. All 24X7 work is in papers. Even meticulous planning from thursday to get the work done on Sat- Sun will not make it possible because Sundays they simply won't work.
The worst is even LG Management is unaware of this in their ivory towers. We both are working and wanted to get the gas blocking service conducted in our refrigerator. Their service center personnel Mr. Riyaz or their Branch Manager Ms Vaishali will first not take the phone calls on sundays. If you try for more than 5 times then they will switch it off.
LG Customer Care on the other hand will say 100 sorry and 200 we understand but we cannot do anything as the gas service is provided by only one company in this part of NCR. Consider this, there are 3 officials to service gas related complaint and they are travelling Bulandshahar, Barout and Meerut.
Worst of all you may stay back whole day but will fail to receive any call from LG for your refrigerator service. There were financial consideration when we bought LG. My sincere advice to all is please wait for a month, get the finances right, but never buy a LG product. It is fine as long as it is working.
But do not expect any service if it breaks down. Better still contact a local guy and get it rectified. It is a big mistake we repent. Although the fridge is still working. We suggest do not go for LG product. Sorry, can't even tell you which one to buy. But not LG.
