We shifted from Thane to Pune. I selected Leo Packers and Movers Hyd, after reading reviews on Mouthshut.com. I had already had a bad experience with Agarwal earlier and was very clear that I did not want them. We asked for a quotation from Writers too, but their quotation was double that of Leo.
I know Writers is good, perhaps the best, but for that I was willing to pay 25% extra, not double. Also, the guy who came to do the survey from Writers appeared relaxed and laid back but this could be just my own subjective judgment.
So we went with Leo Packers and Movers, Hyderabad. The team was led by a person from Kalimpong. A lot of the workers too were from north eastern India. They were quick, efficient, hard working, and very respectful. This is very important for a woman. Not a single man was disrespectful in any way. Plus, their job was good. They were exceedingly polite. I was amazed at the professionalism and service.
We were prepared to have some things break(that is why we had carried some of our crockery with us earlier) but to my surprise even the most delicate items arrived just as they were! Not a single thing broke. When we had moved with Agarwal, a lot of small items were broken. And my daughter who moved with Agarwal from Bangalore to Pune found that almost everything was damaged in some way. Tables chipped, scratches on furniture, mugs broken etc.
When we moved with Leo not a single item was broken. Everything was packed so meticulously and with professionalism.
We had a good experience.
