I stronlgy oppose the abnormal price hike in prescription lenses introduced by lenskart. My lenses which cost around 800/- in now costing Rs.2399/-. Even my local optician charged Rs.1200/- for my lenses & lenskart Rs.2399/- This phenomenal increase is totally unjustified & if you think you can achieve the sales target by this increase you are dreaming in a day light. In fact I was very positve on lenskart but by seeing this steep rise, I am totally negative on you & will never dare to purchase anything from you.
I request to all, through Mouth shut to check the prices in local market, specially of Prescription Lenses before placing the order at lenskart. Second, let me tell you that my previous review on lenskart was very positive but now my opinion on lenskart is negative because of the follwoing reason. 1] Ordered 1 Box of Baush & Lomb Contact lens with Power -2.5 & -.3.00. There website showed a price of Rs.212/- & allowed me to write power for Right eye as -2.5 & left eye as -3.00. 2]
Now when I received the parcel, the box contained nonly 1 box of right eye -2.5 & no other box of -3.00. I immediately contacted them, & they said that you have unchecked the left eye box, so your order is only for right eye which cost 212/-. 3] Now my question is why your website allowed me to write power for both eyes, you website should promt that you are placing order for 1 eye only & in no way allow me to place power for left eye. 4] How a layman can understand this formula? I strongly request to avoid LENSKART to all.
