Apart from handling various Laptops from a decade I thought to give it a try. I went for a shop and got my first budget laptop. This was lenovo essential G580. The build was pretty good with nice glossy finish all over top and keypad area.
The moment I switched it on honestly, it didn't impressed me. I am still using it from 2013 and had pretty bad time with it. I don't have any personal enmity with lenovo products but I don't think this is much of what a user expect from a budget laptop.
It ran well for first few months. Well, I have forgot to tell you but the touchpad is awfully built and none of the drivers work. The precision just not work. You can't even slide your finger on it. I have used 3 years with a external mouse. When reached to complain about the issue the company guy insisted me to use a external mouse. Why would I do that?
It's bulky weighing around 3.15Kgs. with charger and all adds more weight to it. I generally do not expect this from a brand like Lenovo selling craps for sake of brand image.
The laptop came with a single slot ram and it was 2GB. Woh! now, that a awfully made product for watching videos.
The service is pathetic and I don't want to mention his name for god sake.stop selling this type of machine, At Least bring something that add value to a user. I have faced several issues with it. I don't want to recall those.
