They day I left Delhi and decided to move to the USA, I had not thought much about the nightmares of shifting. I easily shifted my goods from Delhi to Gurgaon, personally packed and fixed a transporter to shift it...everythign went smoothly.
I returned back from the USA and joined at Bangalore. I shifted goods from Delhi to bangalore without much hassle, though there was small damages which were ignorable. I did this shifting through Sharma packers. not that bad. Now the real fun started when I planned to move to gujarat from Bangalore. I got this guy Pandey from Laxmi Packers. I handed over the job of shifting to this guy after going through his websites and taking quotations from others. This was the ultimate mistake.
I tried to avoid haryanvi people in this shifting as people there back at bangalore told that most of the ill handled shiftings were done by guys from Haryana or those who have main office in Delhi. And I ended up with this b-a-s-tard great guy from UP permanently settled to Karnataka and so called headoffice in Mumbai. First I sent my car. He made me load my car at car carrier truck before my eyes and promised me that it will be delivered safely and not through road but in carrier itself. 7 days later they drove it directly to my house saying it has come through carrier, but the car looked damn dirty.
Today when I got my car electrical in bad condition, TATA guys informed me that someone had chopped the meterwise and played with wiring of the car...I understood well who the bloody this some one could be for this well cared car! It costed me rs 10, 000 to get wiring repaired, meter repaired and had toc hange the Electronic control unit. This is the safeway laxmi packers delivered my car. Now next was my household goods, 7 days later, I recieve a call in Ahmedabad that sir please collect your goods as its laying as its! Bloody what kinda movers and packers it was that I have to collect things instead of delivered at home for which I had paid heavy money as well as insurance! Finally a tractor came to my house loaded with my household ( I was told that the same truck would reach my home at Ahmedabad!).
To further add my pleasure, the driver was asking me to arrange laborers to shift it to my house. The caretakers from my campus arranged laborers and goods were shifted. I did unpacking myself. And to add more pleasure, I found my refrigerator and Storewell completely damaged. With all this drama, when I tried to contact this guy back at Bangalore, he went missing. Despite of insurance coverage, not a single person turned up and never by goods were repaired and replaced. Its in your interest and specially for those people who shift freqently, its suggested that never trust any glossy website of these packers and movers.
If from my this review even I would be able to save even a single person from frauds of Laxmi Packers and Pandey, I would not feel that bad about my personal experience with these thugs. Bangalore is very far from Ahmedabad, otherwise it would be much easier for me to get Pandey himself shifted to my house and return him only when my goods were returned back to me. I just feel bad for my car whom I kept scratchless and just like a new car..adn this bloody man just damaged it knowingly to make quick money...kya gaali doon inko yaar. " Inse Samaan move and pack karwane se behtar hai aap khud aapne kandhe pe saaman utha ke le jaeyye!"
