If you have become over saturated with your busy schedule & your long rejuvenating vacations are far away from your sight , your nerves are aching from metro’s traffic chaos & you are crying for a short but nice vacation. If you love self yet untiring driving & staying Delhi or nearby then turn your vehicle to Lansdown, A nearest but unexploited beautiful hill station.
Reaching here is quite easy , If you starts journey early in morning like 4 o’clock uncongested & good roads bring you here on comfortable time .
Route is like this Delhi- Merrut-Mavana-miranpur –bijnor-nazeebabad –kotdwar-dugadda –Lansdown
Up to kotdwar you will be in plains I started my drive on 4 am & I was at kotdwar on 8.30am. from here hill starts Lansdown reads 42 Km from here . I found smooth curves up to 20 KM then these became little wilder. It costs around 1 to 1& ½ hour .
Alternatively If you are starting your drive from northern part of delhi or southern haryana thenDelhi-NH1 –bahalgarh-rt turn to bagpat-bagpat-badot-budana-khatauli-miranpur –bijnor can be yours, again from Bagpat you can catch merrut instead of badot
