What can i say. Review on Lakshya

Hello everyone, there is one weakness I have , my reviews about hindi movies never satisfy anyone here in mouthshut, maybe because they are not scientific enough, I dont know ;)

But whenenver I feel that I have to write something about a film then I just do it,

So did I like Lakshya, the answer is simple, I DID NOT

okay I know-now I have shocked some people here, and youvall want me to justify my point - I will try to...

YOU know I love movies in general , and what I like about Hindi ( DESI ) cinema is the art of making love movies, tragedies and sometimes good action movies.

But movies can only be good if they are directed by a good director,

And the reason why I watched LAKSHYA was FARHAN AKHTAR, he has done a great job with DIL CHAHTA HAI, I love that movie.

But sadly I have to say he has wasted his skills and time with lakshya, no doubt Hrithik was great in that movie, but the movie itself, better say the plot and the direction in the movie is not what I expected from Farhan Akhtar.

The first hour of lakshya is superb, Hrithik´s performance especially was great, but then after an hour or so Farhan akhtar lost his point of what I thought the film is/was about, see I was thinking ( in the first hour ) that the film was keen to show the fool´s paradise where young people often live in ( well that was the case in the first hour ) and then I thought after Hrithik went to the army because of rebellious attitude towards his father I was like WOWWWW and saying to myself ''man this film is gonna be bollywood´s answer to BORN ON 4th July starring tom Cruise , directed by Oliver Stone'',...but I was totally wrong !!!!!!!

The film turned out to be a body-count action movie where the hero alone stays alive at the end with some scratches and manages to fix an INDIAN flag after conquering kind of a controlling point for furhter military strategies. AH YEAH, the Pakistani soldiers were not even wearing uniforms but some SARWAR KAMEEZ. Well okay maybe all pakistani soldiers are freedom fighters ;).........

BUT there is one thing I liked best in the movie : it is when Om PURI says that there is only war because humans beings dont want to share, and he further says that it is such a luck that the almighty has placed the moon in the space and not somewhere on earth cause otherwise we had only fragments and splitters left of the moon. I liked that statement that much that after that I said AMEN spontanieously, and you all know the guts and acting skills of OM PURI, He is just a class act !!!!!!!!!,.......

So if you want see some good performance by Hrithik and OM puri then watch this film, but if you expect some demanding stuff then don´t watch this movie, the movie offers great performance by Hrtihik but not so good direction-skills by Farhan Akthar, I mean if some other guy directed this movie I porbably would not be disappointed, but I was really expecting much more from Farhan Akhtar .

Okay thats my overall review of lakshya,..uups I forgot some essential stuff that should not be missing in a review. So there you go :
