Veteran director Joshiy has made some pathetic movies during recent times, but this one was in a different league altogether, for all the wrong reasons. With Mohanlal and Amala Paul in the lead, the film was expected to do well, the way their last hit Run Baby Run fared. But Laila O Laila slipped from the word go. Suresh Nair, who came from Bollywood, wrote a script that was irritatingly bad.
