La Terrazza located in Hyatt Regency, Viman Nagar the restaurant has a subtle ambience with an open kitchen and wood fired pizza oven.
I really like the concept of open kitchens as according to me food is first for the eyes then to satisfy your appetite.
La Terrazza also has an impressive wine cellar at one end and the faint fragrance of burning pizza makes you realise you at the right place o have a good foodie time.
The ambience has a dominant orange shade with a teakwood flooring, tables well spaced out and arranged in an order you'd expect it to be at a classy hotel.
The interiors give you a relaxed feeling in itself. the big glass walls overlooking the outdoor seating with a having small plants lining up the borders and a perfect place to enjoy the cool winter breeze. although I didn't have much knowledge about wines but the staff helped with their recommendations.
We called for Shiraz( red wine, smooth, flawy and berry fragrant) Mexican Mojito( refreshing tequila based drink, had the spice and the cooling effect of coriander) for Antipasti we ordered a pizza(with sundried tomatoes, olives and pesto, very delicious), stuffed mushrooms, and two salads - a fabulous, healthy rocket and parmesan salad and a fresh mozzarella Insalata Caprese. main - course included spinach and ricotta ravioli(a beautiful sage sauce, creamy pesto fusilli and eggplant parmesan).
The star of the course, the eggplant parmesan which came recommended by Chef Luca, came wrapped in cabbage and was topped with a rich, spicy tomato sauce and lots of cheese. for desserts, we had chocolate fondant paired with cinnamon ice cream. the oozy fondant chocolate was perfect. the staff was very cordial and attentive, infact Chef Luca himself seems to enjoy meeting diners - he visited tables, including ours a couple of times - so we suggest you ask him for recommendations. pricing is on the higher side but worth experiencing the fine dining offered by them.
