I have bought Optra Magnum. (you can read my review about) This review is about KUN Chevy Service @ Hafeezpet.
Although GM has good cars/SUVs the service is not up to the mark. I would like to bring following incidents:
1) During my first service, I lost tyre pressure motor in service station, at time of giving service I forgot in car and I did not find it post delivery. When I inquired, I got answer that it was not recorded during service registration so they cannot do anything. Off course this is just one incident. Unfortunately I do not have any proofs and I cannot blame.
2) I had requested for paint job and I found that marks were still visible after spending around 4k in paint. When I inspected the car before taking, they had taken back the car in a hurry and did some finishing touches. Is it not the job of service adviser?
After so many incidents like this which as per me were not worth pursuing, here is one which I feel is basic and shows how casual they took customers.
3) Generally before I take my car out, I have habit of checking all the tyres for proper tyre pressure and I saw that, one of my car tyre (front left, Apollo) had bulge. I went to tyre shop near to my house, they told me that, it will have warranty and requested me to approach car service (KUN Chevy service Hafeezpet). I went there, instead of listening to my problem properly, they told me that tyre is not under warranty since its more than 2 yrs, I purchased my car.
I went back to tyre shop, the good soul in that shop advised me to contact Apollo Tyre care (helpline). I registered my complain, and within 24 hrs I got call from their executive, and he told me that tyre has a warranty from 5 yrs of purchase.
He advised me to take back to tyre to service (KUN Chevy Service Hafeezpet), and take the tyre pictures both from outside then dismantle the tyre and take the RIM picture and send back to Apollo care. I went to KUN as advised, initially the service manager was reluctant to listen to me, he did not believe when I said tyre was under warranty. I called Apollo personal and made him talk to this SM. Then after 2 visits he took pic of tyre and send to Apollo.
After two days I got call from Apollo saying my case is closed, when I called this person from Apollo who interacted with me earlier, he told me that they did not receive proper pics. KUN people just sent tyre pics from outside, and did not bother to take out the tyre rim and send those pics. So after 2 visits to KUN I decided I will do it myself and just made appointment for coming Monday.
Moral is if you do not know you should listen, if you do not want to know then may GOD help you KUN Chevy service.
