Time to Chill Out!!!!...Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye ' is an addition to the winners Himesh Reshammiya has delivered in past 2 years. All the tracks are entertaining and make KMHJ as fulfilling experience. A romantic album, KMHJ deserves to be given a hearing. Fresh look and aggressive publicity by the makers and the album company should only be helping the cause.
After Khalid Mohammad and Kunal Kohli, Samar Khan makes a switch to direction from a film journalism. While Kunal Kohli has swept major awards for his second directorial outing ' Hum Tum ' and Khalid Mohammad's episodic drama ' Silsilay ' looking hot in the industry's circles, Samar Khan's ' Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaaye ' promos have caught on instantly.
Carrying a fresh and youthful look, KMHJ also marks the debut of video giant Shemaroo into the world of movie making. Starring Arshad Warsi and Mahima Chaudhary in the lead, KMHJ also stars Parveen Dabas, Sandhya Mridul, Kanwaljeet Singh and Jaspal Bhatti in supporting roles. With a title like this, bubbly look and music department handled by Himesh Reshammiya and Sameer, one expects a peppy and youthful score
Udit Narayan is as fresh as he has just woken up on a pleasant morning in ' Bhool Jayenge Hum ', a mushy romantic track. Well supported by Shreya Ghoshal, this melodious track is for two hearts deeply in love. Call it the wiz craft of Himesh Reshamiya, but somehow he always comes up with at least one hummable track in every film for which he composes. This time it is the first track of the album itself (that also repeats towards the end) and one expects rest of the score to be pleasant from hereon.
From the title song ' Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye ', one expected a feel-good comical tune. But what follows to everyone's surprise is a melodious love song by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Jayesh Gandhi. Rich with traditional Indian melody, this well written track by Sameer is again soothing and very easy to ears. The feel of the album is maintained with this track that is as simple as a nursery rhyme!
