There are those little ones which you keep slipping aside! Thats okay! Let it be! "Chalta hai" , must have been his bad day, tough day at office, pressure to perform. And you slowly withdraw, little by little, step by step. Everytime you made a call at the "wrong" time, everytime he was in one of "those" moods and you compromised a bit more. Not to forget the little ways you give up yourself everyday. Till one day he passes a cruel remark on you, your non-existent personality and of course the run down physical appearance. Might be any reptile you get compared to, thats another point altogether, but somehow "pati-parmeshwar" born and bred as "Mr. Clever know it all" hardly found it insensitive to pass on such a remark! Birthday or no birthday the days are same for her. So what! Its just another day!! Since he was aptly indispensable and you are just another "middle-class housewife" who can max just buy some flowers or show piece for the house. To a point that you cannot differentiate if you are also just another part of furniture lying in the house, devoid of emotions, to be used as per convenience and forgotten!

And all she thinks in her spare time or her "own" time which she hardly gets any is "I could have been something"

Madhu(Shefali) decides that "shes had it" and decides its about time she lived up that special day! A new look, a new car and a new day which she decides to live her way. Chin up and an attitude up, she meets a very grumpy, grouchy looking uncomfortable in his own pants, unamed call me Mr. Joshi(Rahul), stranger on her binge of sizzling brownie! The personalities clash, so does the dreams peculiarily somewhere in a similar sort of way. He is a criminal on run and she is a wife on run! He imagines an unseen face of his bride and dreams togetherness, she waits for the dream to recur! He naively falls for a two timing girl(Neetu Chandra) and Madhu naively believes that the surprise might spring in any second. The birthday dreams crash on the realism of their lives! To a journey of a day which brings them to change in their lives forever.

Shefali with her huge knees-turning-into-jelly kind of eyes, does it again! The act is brilliant as usual and she maintains her USP of charm, elegance combined with a lot of innocence, adding to the fact that she looks drop-dead gorgeous. She perks up, simmers down, bubbles and looks dejected as and when it seems to be the requisite of the script. And I have still to know any other actor besides Rahul Bose, who shares the screen space and yet does appropriate in/justice to the character. If he delivers effortlessly, he sulks efficiently! For a man or an actor of such charisma and power, he surely knows how to look powerless in lieu of naivete of a woman!!

There are a few dips and misses in the script, which could have otherwise been made more crisp, but on and on its an entertainer to watch out for.

Something Fresh and Invigorating!!
