When one is hungry what's something you do not want? of course waiting at the table .
This is one place, you can simply walk in, maybe after a small struggle for free parking space and have food served within minutes of ordering it .
Hotel Kubera is bang in the middle of the very alive and kicking main road leading to the railway station and right opposite Vrundavan shopping centre .
*I especially like the thali out here.in fact, I think I like almost everything on the menu. What I don't like is the hurried waiters and the always jam packed hotel .*
Be it south Indian cuisine, punjabi delicacies, hyderabadi biryani, Paneer recipes or Pav Bhaji, they are all mouth watering . The fruit cocktails are ultra -sweet and I have to instruct the waiters to cut the sugar out completely or else the cocktail would turn out sweeter than an ice-cream . No ice, no Sugar is something I need to remind them.
The food isn't too expensive out here, for as low as Rs 200 to Rs 300 a couple can easily dine here . One may also opt for the AC room if he or she so wishes .
The food served would be piping hot, if it needs to be hot and fresh .
*If the couple decides to indulge in some luxurious exotic meals, topped with post lunch/ dinner desserts and juices they would still stay within the Rs 500 modest bill amount or maybe just about spillover.*
The seating arrangement is a bit cramped .and the waiters don't seem too friendly, probably as they are humming around like busy bees . Be absolutely sure, you can't be idling on your seat for too long post meals as there will be more hungry people waiting .
I am talking a wild guess the seating capacity would be around 70- 80 customers . This place is more than 2 decades old and is in close proximity to 2 multiplex theatres, KT Vision and Parvati, almost as old as the hotel itself . Its situated just 5 minutes walkable distance from vasai west railway station.
This is the first place that I think of when I need to eat out at Vasai west, *Priya Pure Veg restaurant and Hotel celebrity are 2 other restaurants worth a mention* and also very close to Hotel Kubera itself .
*Ambience & Decor:** crowded, a bit cramped but neat and hygienic . 3/5
*Cutlery and food hygiene:** Maintained quite well by the men in neat uniforms . 4/5
*Table wait time:** do we have any?
*Best known for:** It's a tough one, I'll say lunch and dinner Thalis .
*Will I visit again? **: More than eager to .
*Overall experience**: 4/5
