Good Morning Mouthshut Readers. First of all don't amazed to see a review on a Bike by a Girl:). Girls do ride bikes and yes I am also included in the same category.
An applause to my husband's craze for Cars and Bikes that led me to learn them to Ride and Drive. We have this KTM RC 200 from 1 year and we really feel good about this mean machine. It took a long one month for me to learn how to ride this bike and yes after that had gone on long rides. Hence I am very excited to write some points about this bike.
> First the look of the bike is really attractive and the front fairing is done in such a way that almost omits the resistance by air.
> This is really an amazing bike within the 200 CC range. This bike gives you an amazing pull because of the 25 HP Engine.
> Mileage is also quiet good. We have seen that we get around 31 kmpl in city limits and around 39 on the high ways depending on the driving.
> The underbelly exhaust also gives you a unique sound that adds to the charm of the bike.
> Now speaking something about the color. The black bike with the white KTM decal and the Orange wheels is indeed tempting.
> Now something about handling. I have found as a lady that its quiet comfortable to ride this beast. I feel comfortable to corner this bike at high speeds too provided the road is clear enough.
> Brakes and road grip is average.
Now some of the things that this bike lacks:
> ABS is something that is much needed in this 200 CC category as it does good speed at high revs, .
> The fuel tank has also just 9.5 liters capacity and I would recommend around 12 liters would be great for long rides.
> The pillion seat is also very narrow and there is not a perfect handle bar for extra grip.
My overall experience with this Bike is really good and will rate this as 4/5 considering all the points.
