Hello.
I traveled from Tumkur to Dharwad on 05.08.2017 in KSRTC Non AC sleeper bus(F 1016). PNR number is T71629048. As I didn't receive the bus number and contact number of the bus persons I had to call to the customer care at 9.34pm and got the bus number and conductor phone number. Then I called them at 9.36pm and asked the bus location. Immediately I started from kunigal.
At 10.04 pm conductor called me and they said they have reached the Tumkur bus stand. I asked them I may need just 5 minutes to reach the bus stand as I was just approaching Tumkur. They said its not possible to wait for 5 minutes because we are already late, we will leave. I requested them to stay just 5 minutes and I had just entered Tumkur city. The conductor said talk to the driver and gave the call, but then he also said no no we can't wait, we are leaving. They were so rude, they just said we are leaving, we can't wait. Even though I requested them a lot but they just cut the call.
Then I got worried as I was badly wanted to reach Dharwad, at any cost I should not miss this journey. Then I called costumer care at 10.08pm and requested them to ask the bus to stay for few minutes as I was single lady traveling at night and I wont be able to catch up any other buses at late night. Thankfully the person who took the call called the bus person and he requested them to wait by telling its single lady traveling. They were not at all ready to listen to him also. By that time I had reached the bus stand and I was standing in front of the bus at 10.14pm.
I called the conductor to inform my arrival, he started yelling at me on call itself, then he came to me and started fighting at the bus stand. He was upset because I have a complaint against them at customer care. Instead of starting the bus both conductor and driver were yelling and started talking nonsense to me in front of so many people. It was so embarrassing moment for a girl to stand in such a situation. They started the bus at 10.21pm after all the drama on the platform.
Was it so difficult for them to wait for just a few minutes?
Don't they have the courtesy to wait for a single lady at night?
KSRTC people have made me wait even 11.45pm at bus stand when the boarding time was 10 pmĀ earlier times. When was I delayed by a few minutes don't they have little patience and responsibility of their costumer?
Felt so bad and sad for me for booking the ticket on IRCTC. I would prefer booking private buses now onwards.
Such a bad experience of this time journey was never expected and it was horrible.
I know they won't take any charge against bus conductor and driver because this time I got delayed. I apologize for that but that was not the way to behave to a customer and that too to a single lady at night in the middle of bus stand with a lot of people around. It seems we should not raise our complaints against them as it provokes them to fight with us.
At last, they dropped me at Dharwad at 4.30am before 30 minutes of actual arrival time was 5 am. When they can drive the bus at high speed, all that fighting was not necessary rather they would have waited for some time.
