well sir,this is certainly not ''it''.but what it does contain r some very interesting facts bout KMG which no other MS review can offer !

----------WHY SHOULD U WATCH KMG?

in dono ne tho meri moo ki baath chinli..however here's what I have to say:

---------i thoroughly enjoyed watchin KMG.unlike some other bollywood films ive seen, the time almost flew by.

---------this movie is a complete PAISA WASOOL!...n y not?

with a director-producer like rakesh roshan --who dared to experiment with this''hatke picture''(in the true sense of the word) in this formula driven industry; n a winnin cast that includes hrithik roshan,priety zinta n rekha..KMG is sure to set the cash registers singin ''caching''

-----------but the big hype bout KMG being the first indian sci-fi was somewhat overrated.yes it did involve an alien n there was an impressive hollywood quality special effect with the spaceship...but its not like it this took place on other planet or there were big intergalactic fight scenes.

FACT 1:

Marc Kolbe who worked on Godzilla has done the special effects in KMG,while technicians from Australia designed the alien in the film.

----------talkin bout alien...ever wondered who was inside ''Jadoo''(the alien with a soul)...WHO?...glad u asked!

FACT2:

after meetin 30-40 ppl for the role of jadoo,papa roshan zeroed in on Indravadan purohit,popularly known as Chotu dada.

chotu(having more than 30 yrs of experience in bollywood)had to lose several kilos of weight to carry-off the costume which weighed 15 kgs....n what more...he had to b provided with artificial oxygen after every shot to protect him from suffocating.besides..did u kno that he could hardly see where he was goin in that mask?

--------rajesh roshan comes up with a first rate music score once again.most of the songs r hummable though I would'nt call them out of this world( haila haila song stuck in my head as m writin this.).

although most of the songs r situational I have to say,when the little blue man started singin,i found myself laughin out loud.

FACT 3:

while the songs were shot in some of the picturesque locations in switzerland...most parts of the film was shot in mumbai n nainital

---------now lets talk bout the man who's made a sensational comeback through this rs 32 crore worth ambitious venture shall we..

so accustomed to watching hrithik's nostril flaring stunts n his ability to swing a furiously nifty leg on the dance floor(in movies like KNPH,Yaadein,NTJNH)..it took a liitle while to get used to seeing him acting stupidly,but once I did,his performance was rather impressive.

as the dunderhead Rohit, he raises a lump in ur throat..

which brings u to FACT 4:

It seems that PM Atal Bihari Vaajpayee n Deputy PM L.K.Advani were completely floored by the film n jr.roshan's mind blowing performance.infact,when the other ministers , their families wanted to c the film all over again,proud papa roshan had to rush to Delhi to play hst to r muntris one more time.

hmm...so it figures when hrithik says''i just played from my heart''

with KMG a star is reborn indeed.

''go go go go ..go hrithik its ur birthday....we'r gonna party like its ur birthday...''

-----------fiercely audacious n excessively effervescent priety zinta (as nisha) is cute enough eye candy to make any 3 hrs enjoyable.

---------although the characters r built on obvious cliches...KUDOS to the charming performance by all the actors involved.

-----------if there was one thing that I didnt like bout the movie ,it would have to b the ending---i mean what a big cop-out !.i really wished it was otherwise....the movie did get cheesy at times but other than that ,it was a mystical fare.

so do watch this fun film with ur family...n hey
