Ekta's Production (what a khichdi). Review on Kkusum

Nowadays many serials are being made by Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Productions). Each and every channel has Ekta Kapoor’s serials. All the serials begin with K (Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Kahin Kissii Roz, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki etc.). In fact one or two of them begin with KK (Kkusum). Many people think that she is doing a fabulous job, especially women. What about you all? Is she really doing a good job or just making fools out of us? All her serials have the same stories (same process of making khichdi). Ekta Kapoor has changed her concepts & plots according to her so called sahuliyat and she thinks that nobody is pointing it out.

Kkusum is also one of the Balaji Production’s serials. Kusum’s role played by Nausheen is very good and worth appreciating. The story revolves around Kkusum. She belongs to a middle class family. Kusum (Nausheen) has two brothers (Shashank and Yash) and two sisters (Jyoti and Sonali). Shashank and Jyoti are married.

Yash, Kkusum’s youngest brother, was to get married after Kkusum’s wedding. Earlier the role of Yash was playing by Harmeet Gulzar (one of the singers from the album Boond). Harmeet Gulzar has been replaced by the person playing Kunal Sikand’s younger brother (Nakul Sikand) in Kahin Kissii Roz.

Yash had a girlfriend whom he loved very much. He was not ready to leave his girlfriend but under some unusual circumstances agreed to help a girl (whom his mother wanted him to marry) by marrying her. He was then faded out of the serial by showing us that he had gone to do a catering course abroad. About a month ago, he was shown to have come back for Kkusum’s wedding with Sid. They are now showing that Yash is interested in Kkusum’s sister-in-law (nanad), Astha.

The question now is, where is his wife? How come Yash is planning to marry Astha. He is a married man after all. Did he get divorced? And if we suppose that he was divorced, then where is his girlfriend, the one he loved so much. I am not able to understand this at all. Will you please help me to understand the whole plot madam Ekta. Did I miss something????
