My wife got admitted here for severe throat and chest pain. The whole admission procedure is traumatic and the whole thing starts with asking you about your insurance. The moment they found the insurance limit, I overheard the admissions guy speaking to his assistant "Aagaya.Bakra". In spite of this comment, I trusted the doctor to render good treatment. First of all the whole admission will take a while and we have to constantly keep pushing them.
After the allocation of the room, we have to keep asking them about the attendant bedsheet, cover sheet, pillow cover(which by the way was missing for the patient too and mind you, all this in the most premium single room).
Here are the overall shortcomings:
1) The nurses are wholely unprofessional and they don't know even the simplest of the procedures, on which hand to give IV and how to make it painless for the patient
2) They do unwanted tests - all kinds of tests, CT scans, scans, and blood tests, and everything is repeated every day, till they meet their quota
3) Switches for emergency etc does not even work and night shift nurses are absolutely unprofessional and do not exercise common sense, disturbing the patient for unwanted temperature reading, etc
4) The doctor visit is only once during the day, for just for a few minutes and there is no follow up, no dialogue, no specific instruction to the nurses. it is all in the sheet somehow and there is no feedback. no one knows what is happening and days just drift and charges keep piling up. Junior doctors show up only to make more charges
5) They keep trying trial and error medicines and I once got 3 varieties of cough medicine and the first 2 were wrong
6) The doctors are totally unprofessional and don't bother about wholistic treatment. Unwanted pains due to IV administration and poor practices result in total inconvenience
7) Here is the worst - the entire charge consists of fees for doctor visits, 10s of 1000s of Rupees, for a visit that never even happened and this was repeated for 6 such charges of doctor visits that never happened(one doctor, we questioned said that he showed up once and the patient was sleeping and he charged 3500 Rupees for the visit!)
8) None of the medicine given in the charge sheet works and after a week they ask you to follow up and you continue to suffer endlessly as your WhatsApp messages are not answered.
9) The dietician is a total waste as only food available in the canteen is anyway served There is no option Trying to swindle money in every possible way without your approval
Finally, I was not cured and they had no clue and simply discharged. The discharge itself is totally unprofessional and will be traumatic - it will take a good 4-5 hours to finish the whole procedure and that too if someone actually follows up and pushes them, in every step. First, the doctor has to give the summary and then there is this feeding of every crap charge first, then there is an audit and then, there is a move to another tower and then another audit .finally, it will go to insurance and then we have to get the insurance approval.
After that, they will make you pay for charges that insurance does not pay for(unwanted charges like dietician etc.my recommendation for others, reading this review - don't even ask for Dietician since they send that rotten food that they throw on your face, in dirty, uncleaned plastic trays .all kinds of unwanted gloves, tasteless diet drinks etc
Finally, have deep pockets in this place(you need tons of money) since everything is a loot. The only objective of this hospital is not curing the patient but to loot as much as feasible from the patient, in every step of the way.
