Return of Khulja Sim Sim . Review on Khul Ja Sim Sim!

Remember Khulja Sim Sim -the game show that aired on star plus months back. The show was hosted by Aman Varma(Presently hosting Sony's Indan Idol). The show gifted prizes worth lakhs of rupees to its participants- Cars,Refrigerators,Jewelleries,holiday packs etc etc ...all for just three words-KHULJJA SIM SIM!!

And Guess What! The show is returning to the indian television. But not with Aman Varma as its host. The new host is none other than, the charming Hussain(Sumit Wadhwa of Kumkum). The show in its new avathar is expected to create waves of en enthusiasm to participants and also viewers.

I don't know why Aman Varma was replaced though he was doing a great job. Perhaps he is busy with other serials and shows Or maybe the channel wanted a change. The procedure for the game is simple. Aman (the host) selects a participant at random from a pool of audience, asks a simple question(simple means..very very simple), gives a lumpsum amount as reward. Then starts the repeated question 'Do you want to take the money and return home or go for the door?' It creates interest for few days, after that it irritates.The only thing I like is its sets-it is colourful with full of lights.

Even though the game show is watchable, it becomes dull after many episodes due to the repeated nature of the show. The show is not for continuous viewers. I would recommend viewers who want to spend an hour while there is no other program to watch.

The show will be aired at 9:30pm fridays on star plus.

At last let me tell you one thing- I am not going to watch it a second time.
